Lungfish Toxic Avenger
The Lungfish game is a horizontal scrolling action game developed by myself and Base2 Communication Design for the Smokefree youth website www.lungfish.co.nz.
Development Status
Development on the game is complete. The Lungfish game features a parallax scrolling background to enhance the sense of depth. The game engine uses a just-in-time strategy to creating new game objects (movie clips) as they are required to increase the game performance.
As the budget for the game was small we have only delivered a single level. To increase replay-ability the game is always random.
Play the game
The object of the game is to reach the end of the level before you run out of oxygen, picking up all the rubbish on the way. Avoid the nasty sea creatures and make sure you pick up the bonus oxygen! Use the cursor keypad on your keyboard to control Lungfish. To play the official Lungfish game you need to be a registered user with www.lungfish.co.nz. However you can play a local version of the game without needing to register.
